The Elderly Club specializes in providing daytime care for elderly people living in their own homes who are only partially able to care for themselves. The service is available on weekdays, and transportation is provided by the Center for Social Care.

The goal of the club is to complement family care by providing social and mental support, improving the social situation of the elderly, alleviating loneliness, preventing the harmful effects of inactivity, and improving their physical and mental health.

We provide opportunities for participation in leisure programs. If needed, we assist with official administrative tasks. We provide mental support and maintain contact with family members.

The club offers three meals a day for its members – breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack. As part of health care, we regularly monitor blood pressure and weight, and, if needed, blood sugar levels. Manicure, pedicure, and hairdressing services are available for a fee.

Dementia Care

Since spring 2015, within the framework of the Elderly Club, we have been able to welcome elderly people suffering from cognitive decline (mild dementia). A medical opinion confirmed by a psychiatrist or a Dementia Center is required to access this service.

For our dementia clients, the aim of mental health care and activities is to maintain, and where possible, improve their level of activity. Our objectives include delaying the progression of the condition, overcoming feelings of uselessness, and ensuring well-being.

To achieve these goals, it is essential to provide:

The organization of these activities ensures meaningful leisure time, the joy of creation, and promotes the development of positive attitudes toward aging. (This form of care also helps to relieve family members, ensuring that their loved ones are safe and supervised.)
