Accessibility Statement
The Centre for Social Care (hereinafter: the Institution) is committed to making its website accessible to the widest possible audience, in accordance with the legal requirements on the accessibility of information and communication technologies.
Compliance status
This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA, issued by the World Wide Web Consortium, as well as with Act LXXV of 2018 on the accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies.
The content of this accessibility statement complies with the requirements of Decree 30/2019. (IX. 4.) of the Ministry for Innovation and Technology on the content elements of accessibility statements applicable to the accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies.
Accessibility of the website
During the development of the website, the Institution aimed to ensure the following accessibility principles:
- the website is fully navigable using a keyboard, with interactive elements accessible in a logical order,
- a visible focus indicator is provided to support keyboard navigation,
- the content is interpretable by screen reader software, with appropriate structural elements (headings, lists, semantic markup),
- texts and interface elements are displayed with sufficient colour contrast,
- navigation is supported by a “skip to content” link,
- forms provide field-level error messages and clear feedback,
- links and buttons are clearly and meaningfully labelled, avoiding reliance on purely visual cues.
Non-accessible content
The following content is currently not fully accessible:
- Some PDF documents available on the website (e.g. forms, regulations, reports) do not fully meet accessibility requirements.
- These documents typically lack structured elements (e.g. tags, form fields, reading order), therefore their usability with screen readers is limited.
Ensuring accessibility
The Institution aims to:
- ensure that the HTML content of the website is fully accessible,
- make the information contained in documents available on the website in alternative, accessible formats,
- apply accessibility considerations more consistently in documents published in the future.
Disproportionate burden
Providing full accessibility for existing PDF documents would impose a disproportionate burden on the Institution; therefore, these are currently exempt.
