Residential Home for Older People

The Residential Home for Older People may provide care for persons with a permanent address in Érd who have reached the statutory retirement age, whose care needs are classified as level III, and who do not require regular inpatient hospital treatment. Care may also be provided for persons over the age of 18 who, due to illness or disability, are unable to care for themselves, have level III care needs under Decree 36/2007 (XII. 22.) of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour, and whose care cannot be provided in another type of nursing and care institution. Up to 10% of the available places may be provided to residents of other municipalities.

By creating a family-like environment, we provide our residents with the opportunity for a balanced, safe and active older age. In all cases, we take into account the physical and mental needs of residents, with regard to their existing abilities, interests and health condition. Care is provided for a fee, which is determined on the basis of income and financial circumstances.

• provision of medicines and medical aids, the reimbursement of which is shared between the client and the institution in accordance with statutory requirements
• mental health support, maintaining mental and physical freshness, and organising recreational and cultural activities
• physiotherapy and therapeutic massage as prescribed by a doctor
• money management and safekeeping of valuables at the resident’s request or where justified
• manicure, pedicure and hairdressing services are available for a fee

Visiting hours

Visiting hours are every day from 8:30 to 11:30 and from 14:30 to 17:30. Visits outside these hours are possible by prior arrangement with the head of the organisational unit and with written permission.

Admission procedure

The first step in the admission procedure is submitting an application. Together with the application, please also submit the forms required for assessing admission and determining the care fee. The forms are available at the end of this information page.

A condition of admission is the determination of level III care needs. The assessment of care needs takes place at the applicant’s place of residence or, if necessary, in hospital, after the person waiting for placement has submitted their application to the institution. During the assessment, we also take into account the applicant’s other circumstances, such as housing, general and health condition, and family relationships. The general practitioner’s certificate must also be attached to the application, together with any other documents certifying the applicant’s illnesses, such as hospital discharge summaries.

The monthly care fee is 80% of the assessed income, plus a partial amount calculated on the basis of real estate and financial assets. The exact amount is determined after the income and asset declaration has been completed.
